"Aznakayev Local History Museum"

Aznakayev Museum of Local Lore was founded by the order of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Tatarstan on December 2, 1991. At first there was no building, the museum was in the House of Culture. On August 13, 2016, a local history museum was opened in a new building.

The museum consists of five exhibition halls:

• "Archaeology and nature of the region" - includes various museum objects (archaeological, animal and plant origin - paleontological collection of mammoth bones, pieces of petrified trees);
• “Ethnography, trade and fisheries of the region”;
• History of the region in 1930-1960 and the Great Patriotic War;
• “History of the region in the post-war years. Famous countrymen”;
• "The history of oil production of the region."

Here, through documents, photographs, personal items and books, it tells about those who are proud of the district. The museum annually hosts meetings with famous countrymen, war veterans, home front workers, etc. Exhibitions are held weekly.
