Picture Gallery - Museum of Fine Arts of Balashikha

The Balashikha Art Gallery was created on the initiative of local artists in the form of a state cultural institution for the storage, study and public presentation of museum objects and collections. The art gallery fund is divided into three departments: 1) the department in which the works of professional artists (painting, graphics, sculpture, DPI) of Russia and foreign countries are collected and stored; 2) the department of naive art; 3) the department of children's creativity, where the works of students of general educational institutions, children's creativity centers, children's art schools and craft centers of the Moscow region and Balashikha district are located. Of particular interest to the residents of the Balashikha district are personal exhibitions of local artists, as well as objects and collections of decorative and applied art (batik, tapestry, colored glass, lace, etc.), which are exhibited annually in the halls of the art gallery. Do not leave indifferent and a peculiar interpretation of biblical legends on the canvases of modern artists, and the classics of the Soviet period from the collections of the art gallery is particularly respected.
