Bolgar - the capital of Volga Bulgaria

Excursion to the ancient city of Bolgar (190 km. from Kazan) - the place of spread of Islam in the Volga region since the X century, the first open-air museum in the world - by the personal order of Tsar Peter I, inspect the ancient tombs, Khan's palace, minarets, plates in the Old Tatar language. On this land is the largest, most beautiful and expensive Quran made to order in Italy, which is flipped daily by four men, the magnificent new Ak Machet (White Mosque). Here you will be delighted and boundless Volga expanses, and immensely high, open shores, and blessed, holy land.
