The Great Bulgarian

We will make an amazing journey into the past, driving only 200 km from Kazan. You will see the northernmost monuments of Muslim medieval architecture in the world, get acquainted with the history of Muslim civilization, which has world significance, learn ancient legends and legends.

The exposition of the Museum of Bulgarian Civilization presents more than 1,600 exhibits and reveals the main themes: “History of the study of Bolgar”, “History of Bulgarian civilization”, “City of Bolgar”. In the museum and exhibition complex “Memorial sign in honor of the adoption of Islam by the Volga Bulgars in 922” the world’s largest printed Koran is presented, it is listed in the Guinness Book of Records, and the exposition “The Museum of the Koran” is also interesting. There will be an opportunity to visit the House of the Healer, the Museum of the History of the Assumption Church, the Museum of Bread, the well of St. Gabdrahman and the magnificent complex “White Mosque”. In craft workshops, you can try your hand at making pottery, weaving from a vine, weaving and minting coins.
