The museum is an original center of cultural life of Borovsk, telling about culture, life, architectural and archaeological monuments.
In the exposition of the museum you can get acquainted with the frescoes of Dionysius and white-stone blocks from the Pafnutiev-Borovsky Monastery, the history of the Monk Pafnutiy Borovsky and the tragic fate of boyarina F.P. Morozova and Princess E.P. Urusova, who suffered for orthodoxy in the second half of the XVII century and buried in Borovsk. |
