Museum of Interactive Knowledge "The Box of Times"

The museum is located in the house where the descendant of the ancient family of princes Golitsyn - Vladimir Mikhailovich Golitsyn (1901-1943) lived. In the 30s of the last century, the whole family was cheerful from Moscow. Having wandered around in different places, a large family settled in the city of Dmitrov. The museum is a conditional box in which time is packed. The mailbox and the clock are the ancient inhabitants of the house. In the interactive multimedia presentation "Connection of Times" they in an accessible, relevant and interesting form for children and adults acquaint with the history of the house, with the inner world and the work of a representative of the ancient family of princes Golitsyn. Thanks to modern technologies, each visitor can look into the magic mirror of time, take part in an expedition, walk through a virtual maze, and even visit the Golitsyns themselves, drink tea with sheep, learn even more about his family and the traditional Russian strength of the human spirit. The concept of “The Connection of Times” gives an impetus to the realization of one’s own life as a phenomenon of a beautiful gift that is given to everyone.

Excursion is a format of visiting the museum

Sessions are held on a schedule that is easy to remember: from Thursday to Sunday every new hour from 11.00 begins the session, the last session begins at 18.00. If there is at least one visitor, the session is held. Tickets can be purchased on the spot 5-10 minutes before the start of the session.
