Carpin Pond in the Dutch Garden
Description:
An artificial pond called Karpin is located near the Gatchina Palace. Many Gatchina people also call it a pitcher, since in shape it looks like a jug with a long throat and a handle. On the sides of the reservoir there are Dutch Gardens, Long Island, two stone bridges: Karpin with a small dam and Zakharov (or Lviv) on the Kiev highway.
