Devil's Finger and Grotto Valley

The Devil’s Finger Mountain and the Grotto Valley are one of the most spectacular and often visited natural attractions of Altai by tourists. The popularity of these natural objects is explained not only by the fact that from the top opens the amazing beauty of the panorama of Katun and the Altai Mountains, but also by the easily accessible location. Getting to them is very simple and it is possible even for an unprepared traveler.

PROGRAMME:

10:00 - Departure from Gorno-Altaisk

11:00 – Climbing the Devil’s finger mountain, which offers an amazing view of the valley of the Katun River. Tracking is 6 km.

13:00 – Walking through the Valley of Grottoes. You will find more than 30 karst caves, grottoes and sightseeing views of nature, mountains and the Katun River. Through the Valley of the Grottoes there is an easy and picturesque excursion route, which will lead along the forest trail through bizarre rock arches, the remains of the vaults of ancient caves and thickets of strawberries. Trekking is 2 km.

15:00 - Return to Gorno-Altaisk.

Organizational moments: In winter, you can order climbing a mountain on a snowmobile, in the summer on an ATV or on a horse. Check the prices. At the request of the participants, it is possible to replace the Valley of Grottoes with the Tavdinsky caves (+ 150p. entrance to the caves).

According to individual requests, various combinations of excursion facilities are possible, weekend tours (2-3 days) any direction are also valid, prices are contractual.

The price includes: All crossings along the route, the work of a guide-driver.

The price does not include: Meals on the route, entrance tickets to excursion facilities.
