Mount Sinyuha

Description:

One of the attractions of the Altai Mountains is the famous Mount Sinyukha. It owes its name to the blue air that envelops the trees growing on the mountain. Being the highest point of the Kolyvan ridge, Sinyukha offers a breathtaking view to each person on the top.

When climbing the mountain, you can observe the variability and diversity of the Altai nature: coniferous forests and flowering shrubs grow on the slopes, but there are no plants at the top, there is a view on the snow-covered Tigiretsky Range in one direction, and in the other hot Kulundin steppes are visible.

The mountain itself is considered by Christians a sacred place, many revered it as a place of power with a powerful positive energy. Here is a naturally formed granite "bowl" - a hemisphere in which water accumulates, which, according to legend, has healing properties.

You can get to the mountain by personal car from the village of Kolyvan. There is also an opportunity to climb the mountain on a cable car in the village of Manzherok.
