The Great Altai Journey
Description:
1 day - 08:00 meeting of the group, loading things, boarding the UAZ minibus. Purchase of food. Safety briefing.
Moving to Biysk - p.Kurai, base "Chui Alps". Excursion program on the Chui highway : accommodation at the base, dinner, rest.
Day 2 - day, excursion to the lake Dzhangyskol. The base is located in a picturesque place in the Kurai steppe, from here a beautiful panorama of the snow-capped peaks of the North Chui and Kurai ranges opens.
Day 3 - 8:00 - breakfast. Moving - the base "Chui Alps" - the spur of the North Chui Ridge - Kyzyl-Chin gorge with picturesque "Martian landscapes" - a point of view on Mount Sukkor (3000 m) with a spectacular circular panorama of mountains. In the evening, the camp is set up in a beautiful mountain valley at the foot of the Kurai Range. Dinner, rest.
4 day - day, radial excursions, rest, bath.
Day 5 is breakfast, camp. Moving - Parking - Aktash village - Katu-Yaryk Pass - Chulyshman River Canyon - Parking on the Chulyshman River.
On the way, stop in the most interesting places of the Ulagan Highlands and on the Katu-Yaryk Pass.
One kilometer high.
Day 6 - Breakfast, excursion to the waterfall Uchar, dinner, rest.
Day 7 - in the morning excursion to "Stone mushrooms". Moving to Teletskoye Lake, rest on the coast of Kyrsai, in the evening moving to the Bashkaus River,
camp installation, dinner, rest.
Days 8-9: Days , radial excursions . . In Chulyshman and Bashkaus, there are taimen and garius, so fishing enthusiasts are recommended to take gear.
10 days - camp gathering, moving - per. Katu-Yaryk - Aktash - Parking on the river. Chuya.
Day 11 - day, rest, evening farewell fire.
Day 12 - Breakfast, camp. Moving to Bijsk.

The food is purchased before leaving the route, the cooking on the route is carried out by the group themselves. The list of necessary products is provided by the guide-conductor at the request of the group. All necessary equipment is provided (tents, rugs, etc.).
