Jazzator - Tungur (via Argut - Ak-Kem - Kucherlu)

Horse tour in the Altai, with elements of trekking, the route of which passes through hard-to-reach and rarely visited places of the Katun Ridge. Walking through the Alpine meadows at an altitude of about 2000 m, we will see the highest point of Siberia, Mount Belukha from three different places. In this tour, in many difficult areas, you will have to hurry and lead your horse by the reins. Every day we will take a break from the horses and take small walks.

The tour is held in the border zone and requires registration of passes, so the deadline for accepting applications for participation in the tour is limited:
For foreigners, the period of registration is at least 60 days.
Applications submitted at a later date are considered individually.

Route programme:

1 day of arrival: Meeting in Gorno-Altaisk, airport (arrival hall)
(Perhaps a meeting in Barnaul (900 rubles) or Novosibirsk (1400 rubles).
Accommodation at the tourist base "KIT" in houses, preparation for the tour, rest, an evening of acquaintances (extra excursions, a bath are possible).

Day 2: Start of the tour. Moving (Gorno-Altaisk – Kosh-Agach – Jazzator) 590 km. The road runs along the oldest path of Siberia - the Chui tract.
Excursion facilities: (Seminsky Pass, Chike-Taman Pass, Inya Bridge, Stone Women, Rock Paintings, Chuya River Estuary, Thresholds "Turbin", "Behemoth", ancient mounds.)
Accommodation at the camp in houses.

Day 3: S. Jazzator - Kara-Suu tract. Horse crossing 3-4 hours (20 km).
Overnight in the Kara-Suu tract in 2-4 local tents.

Day 4: Kara-Suu Tract - Kulagash Tract. Horse crossing 6-7 hours (26 km).
Overnight on the banks of the Kulagash River in 2-4 local tents.

Day 5: The Kulagas River is the Burtyldak River. Horse crossing 6-7 hours (30 km).
Overnight on the banks of the Bartuldak River in 2-4 local tents.

Day 6: A day. Rest day.

Day 7: The Burtyldak River is the Sulaira River. Horse crossing 6-7 hours (30 km).
Overnight on the banks of the Suluaira River in 2-4 local tents.

Day 8: Sulaira River - Lake Ak-Kem. Horse crossing 6-7 hours (30 km).
Overnight on the shore of the Oz. Ak-Kem in 2-4 local tents.

Day 9: Day. Radial access to the Ak-Kem glacier and the Lake of Mountain Spirits Walking 7-8 hours (20 km).

Day 10: A day. Radial access to the foot of the mountain Ak-Oyuk (3670 m) Walking passage 6-7 hours (18 km).

Day 11: Lake Ak-Kem - Karaturek Pass (translated from Altai - "Black Heart", 3060 m) - Cedar glade (2200 m). Horse crossing 7-8 hours (30 km).
Overnight on a cedar clearing in 2-4 local tents.

Day 12: Cedar clearing - Kucherkinskoye Oz. Horse crossing 3-4 hours (15 km).
Overnight on the shore of the Oz. Kucherlinskoye in 2-4 local tents.

Day 13: Kucherkinskoye - village Tungur. Horse crossing 6-7 hours (30 km).
Overnight at the camphouse.

Day 14: Transfer (Tungur – Ust-Koksa – Gorno-Altaisk) 450 km.
Excursion facilities: (Keleyny Pass, Yabogansky Pass, Seminsky Pass).
Accommodation in houses on the tourist base "KIT".
Rest. (A visit to the bath is possible).

15 days of departure: Entrances to the airport of Gorno-Altaisk (departure hall).
(It is possible to transfer to Barnaul (900 rubles) or Novosibirsk (1400 rubles).
