Shavlin Lakes + Middle Katun

All, 1 day: t/k "Taizhnik" - Kurai village - base park "Tute", car 350 km
Place of gathering of the group - t / k "Taizhnik". Collection time is 0930 (local time).
Journey along the oldest path of Siberia - Chui tract. Along the way, tourists will learn about the history of the Altai Mountains, about the traditions of its indigenous population.
Tent accommodation. Bath. Instruction, preparation for the march. Dating night.

Mon, day 2: Parking "Tute" - the valley of Eshtyk-Kol - Oz. Jangyskol is an oz. Karakol, horses 25 km
Start of the active part of the route. The path of tourists passes through the picturesque valley Eshtyk-Kol, which is located at the foot of the North Chui Ridge. Once there was a huge lake, the existence of which is reminiscent only of its preserved parts - lakes Dzhangyskol and Karakol.
Overnight on the shore of Lake Karakol. General horse crossing 5-6 hours

Day 3: Oz. Karakol – Majoy Pass – Karakabak River, radial exit to the Oz. Karakabak, horses 25 km, walking 10 km
The trail then rises to a small pass - Mazhoysky, then descends to the Maash valley, then again goes up, along the Karakabak river. Horse crossing 2-3 hours.
After lunch - radial access to the lake Karakabak. The lake is located in the system of the North Chui Ridge at an altitude of about 2300 m and has glacial origin. The area of the lake is OK. 1 sq. km, depth 6-7 m, average water temperature 7-8 0C. The steep shores have almost no vegetation and go into pointed peaks, which even in summer are covered with snow. The radial exit duration is 2-3 hours.

Sr., 4 days: Karakabak river - valley of Karasu river - Shabaga river - Shavla river - arrow of rivers Right and Left Shavla, horses 30 km
The transition goes along the valleys of the Karasu and Shabaga rivers. Overnight in tents on the banks of the river Shavla. General horse crossing 7-8 hours.

5 days: day, radial access to the Shavlin lakes., walk 24 km
The most memorable days of the hike. Through the deep taiga, the trail rises to the Lower Shavlinsky Lake. From here there is a beautiful view of the three peaks of the mountain hub - Tale, Dream and Beauty. In clear windless weather, they are fully reflected in the huge mirror of the lake, and this is truly a fabulous sight. But there is still an ascent to the upper lake, from the banks of which the glaciers of the Shavlin horseshoe are clearly visible.
In the evening, the bath (for an additional fee). The radial exit time is 6-8 hours.

Pt, 6 days: day, radial access to the observation peak, walk 12 km
Climb to a small peak (2500 m) in the vicinity of the camp. From the top there is a view of the Shavlin lakes and the valley of the river Left Shavla. The radial exit time is 3-4 hours.

SB, day 7: Shavla river - Karakabak river, horses 30 km
Return to the valley of the Karakabak River. General horse crossing 7-8 hours.

All, day 8: Karakabak river - Majoysky pass - Oz. Karakol - the valley of Eshtyk-Kol - the base parking "Tute", horses 35 km
The trail overlooks the forest dirt road leading up to the Majoy Pass, from which it descends into the valley of Lake Kara-Kol. From there, crossing the large valley Eshtyk-Kol, the road goes to the base parking "Tute".
Bath. General horse crossing 6-7 hours.

Mon, 9th day: base parking "Tute" - Katun River, mouth of the Maly Yaloman River - Ailagush River, car 163 km, raft 17 km
Beginning of the water part of the route. On this day, tourists become the true conquerors of White Water. The first test of forces is the threshold "Ilgumensky" (IV hp) with a length of 500 m and shafts up to 4 m. Fishing is possible (fishing gear is not issued, catch is not guaranteed).

Watts, day 10: Aylagush river - Big Sumulta river, raft 40 km
On this day, tourists are waiting for new obstacles - the threshold "Kadrinsky breakthrough" (IV c.s.) - 6 km of large waves, "barrels" and a huge whirlpool "Gadfly"; as well as the threshold "Shabash" (IV-V c.s., length 700 m) - one of the most dangerous on the Middle Katun. Fishing is possible (fishing gear is not issued, catch is not guaranteed).

Sr., 11 days: Big Sumulta - village of Orokta, raft 40 km
From the very morning, the Shivers and barrels of the Kayancha rapids (I-II k.s.) will begin, preparing the team for a new test - the threshold of the Big Ayulinsky (III k.s.).
In the afternoon - a walking tour to ancient rock paintings - petroglyphs.

Ht, 12 day: village Orokta - village Yelanda - t / k "Taizhnik", raft 30 km, car 80 km
On the final day, tourists are waiting for new obstacles - the thresholds of "Teldek-Pen" I and II (III k.s.), which is translated from Altai - "rise mountains". These are canyon-type rapids, with a chaotic pile of jets, funnels and “mushrooms” with a width of Katun 20 m.
Further, the river valley expands noticeably, obstacles are simplified: the thresholds of "Biyk" (II cm), "Yelandinsky" (III-IV cm).
Moving to T/C Taezhnik. Bath. Farewell bonfire.
