“In the arms of autumn”, excursion tour

Autumn in the Altai is especially good, the nature of the Altai is divine, the soul rejoices from incredible bright colors and endless rainbow colors. The warm sun warms with gentle rays. Tour programme:
Day 1: Meeting of participants at Gorno-Altaisk airport from 9.00 to 10.30.

Transfer to the Chemal district, the Altai Republic, settling in houses on the base, surrounded on all sides by picturesque mountain ranges. Within walking distance is the beautiful Katun River.

After lunch - sightseeing tour of the village of Askat. The village is cozy located at the foot of Mount Menjelic, to which we will climb and admire the picturesque surroundings and the Katun River. Askat is famous for the presence of masters of various crafts: pottery, leatherwork, painting, painting and wood carving, etc. During the tour, we will visit the Bai-Terek ethno shop, where the works of local artists and masters of ceramics are exhibited: paintings, jewelry, musical instruments, souvenirs and much more; a silver source.

Day 2: Excursion to the all-season resort of Manzherok.

We climb the picturesque cable car to the mountain Malaya Sinyukha (1030 m). Modern comfortable cabins will give you the opportunity to relax and just enjoy the views of the surrounding mountains, the Katuni Valley and Lake Manzherok.

Next, we will go for a walk to the Kamyshlin waterfall through the suspension bridge over Katun along a picturesque forest path.

Day 3: During the sightseeing tour "Legends of Chemal" we will visit the island of Patmos, passing through the suspension bridge over Katun to the temple of John the Theologian, the Chemal HPP - the oldest hydroelectric power station in the Altai, the confluence of the Chemal and Katun rivers.

Patmos is a small island with steep rocky slopes on the Katun River, on which the Orthodox Church of John the Theologian is located. At the moment, the temple is an active women's hermitage, where services are held, at the same time it is available for visiting by everyone. After we visit the fair of Altai and Mongolian goods and souvenirs, natural products of Altai (honey, herbal teas, pine nut, etc.).
After lunch we will visit the Askat Blue Lakes, which cannot be seen in summer, as they open only in early autumn.

Day 4: Excursion along the Chemalsky tract to the Oroktoy Bridge. In the area of the Oroktoysky bridge, Katun has a small width and the greatest depth, according to some measurements more than 70 m. Under the bridge there are Teldekpen rapids - one of the most beautiful and longest rapids on Katun.

On the way, we will stop in the valley of mountain spirits and on the Yelandinsky threshold. We will climb to the observation deck in the Chechkysh tract, where a stunning landscape opens up to the valley of the Katun River. Also from the observation deck you can observe the island in the middle of Katun, popularly nicknamed the MTS egg for its similarity from the advertising of the mobile operator.

Day 5: Excursion to the only nursery of purebred bison beyond the Urals. We will not only see them, but also learn a lot of interesting things from the life of these forest residents - contemporaries of the mammoth.

Transfer to Gorno-Altaisk. Arrival at the airport 13.00
