Spring in Altai. Maral flowering (5 days)

The warmest area of Altai. The flowering season of maral, which paints the slopes of the mountains in purple! Fantastic beauty!

It will be an unforgettable 5 days! A real adventure and a stunningly beautiful time of year (mountains of lilac color, covered with flowers of Altai maral). On the tour you will get acquainted with the culture of Altai, its turbulent rivers, blue lakes, majestic passes, places of power and natural monuments. All this will take place against the backdrop of the most beautiful phase of spring, when the air smells of freshness of young leaves and flowers, newborn foals and lambs graze in the valleys, hundreds of transparent streams and waterfalls flow from the mountains, and everywhere there is a special energy of the joy of waking Altai from winter sleep.

The tour is active but not physically difficult and does not require any special training. All overnight stays will take place at the campground.

1 DAY

Meet Altai. Patmos Island. Confluence of the Chemala and Katuni Rivers.

Group meeting. Transfer. The Chuisky highway along which our route will pass is very picturesque. On the way we will make stops in all interesting and significant places.

Today we are waiting for a tour of Patmos Island and Chemal HPP. On this day you will visit an incredibly beautiful place - on the island of Patmos (this is a chapel located on a rock ledge right in the middle of a mountain river). We will walk along the suspension bridge, admire the confluence of two mountain rivers Chemala and Katun (the color of the water in the rivers is different), see the picturesque Chemal HPP, built in the 30s. In the evening, check in at the camp. Holiday dinner and dating night.

2 DAY

Kamyshlin water. Rafting on the Katun River. Caves of Ancient People.

Excursion to the Tavdin caves, where ancient people lived in different eras. We will see one of the 30 karst caves - the largest and most spectacular, visit the rock arch and observation deck, which offers a wonderful view of the valley of the Katun River. After that, you will take a short walk to the banks of the Katun River, where the monument to N. Roerich is located. Then head to one of the best apiaries of Res. Altai, where you learn how bees make honey, the road there is very picturesque.

Next, you will make a dizzying voyage on motor boats along the main Altai river - Katun. Despite a lot of emotions and adrenaline, swimming is absolutely safe, does not involve physical exertion and boat management skills. On the way you will visit the spectacular waterfall - Kamyshlinsky, the water of which is bright turquoise color, and from the height of the observation deck you can take excellent photos.

3 DAY

Gorge of Mountain Spirits. Power places. OROCTOIA BRIDGE. A maral farm. Dry water.

Today we are waiting for a tour of the gorge of mountain spirits - a cult place of the Altaians, named so ancient that scientists can not decipher its meaning, is a place of power and, in a way, a natural temple. In the gorge we will visit - a creek of health, a scribe of rock painting, a cascading waterfall, an observation deck, from where a stunning view of the valley of the Katun River opens.

Then a tour of the best maral farm in the Altai Republic. Here, you can see herds of marals, which graze on a large fenced area of maral, learn about pant farming, purchase pantoproduction. There will be a bath in the evening:

4 DAYS

Askat Masters Village. THE END WALK.

Today we will take a tour of the village of Askat masters, which is known for its artisans and unusual residents. There we will be able to get acquainted with various types of creativity, learn to play ethnic instruments and even create our own ethno-group. In one of the houses we will undergo sound therapy with Tibetan singing bowls. In another – taste Altai phyto-tea. In the third, we will admire the work of tanners. At the end of the tour, we will learn how to shoot from arches and get acquainted with the famous family of artists - Golovan.

Horseback riding in the mountains (paid additionally - 2000 rubles). You will climb to the top of the Yelandinsky Pass, which offers magnificent views of hundreds of kilometers of mountain ranges. For those who prefer horseback riding, alternative activities will be offered. Farewell dinner and a fire tonight.

5 DAY

Souvenir markets. Lake Mangerok. Reverse Transfer.

Departure day. Breakfast, packing.

Walk through the souvenir markets, where you can buy Altai honey, herbs, national musical instruments, various jewelry and products of local artisans. Further, check-in to Lake Manzherok, where those who wish can climb on a chair lift to the top of Mount Sinyukha. From there, there is a stunning view of the valley of the Katun River and the lake itself (ascent is paid additionally - 450 rubles).
