House-Museum of the People's Artist of the USSR V.A. Igoshev

The House-Museum of People’s Artist of the USSR Vladimir Alexandrovich Igoshev in Khanty-Mansiysk opened its doors for visitors in 2001, on the day of the 80th anniversary of the artist. The Master himself took an active part in the creation of the museum. The main themes of his work are the beauty of the Siberian land, the rich history and culture of the region, the amazing characters of the people inhabiting the Ugra region.

The museum is located in a small building with an elegant facade, stylistically reminiscent of Russian Art Nouveau. The building is decorated with expressive decorative grilles and motley mosaics. The metal fence is a harmonious addition to the expressive facades and a pointed roof topped with weather vanes. The exterior design of the House-Museum from the first moments prepares the visitor to meet with the beautiful, contributes to the creation of a good mood and desire to join the Art.

Among the exhibits of the Museum are works from the collection of the art gallery of the Foundation of Generations and the own collection of the House-Museum of V.A. Igoshev. Every detail of the interior is carefully selected - so as to awaken the imagination of visitors, provide genuine aesthetic pleasure and inspiration.
