Kilometers traveled on oars will leave unforgettable impressions and a bright moment of meeting the lake. The tour is suitable for people with different levels of training - the daily mileage is determined depending on the state and mood of the group.
Programme: At 8:00 you will be met by an instructor and you will go to the village of Listvyanka. Listvyanka is the nearest settlement on Baikal from Irkutsk. About an hour on the way. On the way you will see the Baikal taiga. Along the route there are several settlements founded by the pioneers of Siberia. In front of Listvyanka is the village of Nikola. Here is the base of the search and rescue department of the EMERCOM of Russia. From the track you can see the buildings of the Base and special dome houses. But we're moving on. At the source of the Angara - the first stop on the program. From the observation deck, located on the high bank of the Angara, there is a wonderful panoramic view of the river, originating from the lake and the Shaman Stone. We meet with Baikal and go to the Limnological Museum – one of the most detailed museums about the lake. The tour will take about an hour.
After the museum, the active part. Move to the starting point of the active part. We collect kayaks, this is not difficult to do, the help of the instructor is welcome. When the ships are ready – safety briefing and the beginning of the water trip on the lake. In a beautiful place on the beach - lunch. During the walk you will see the rocky shores, the Siberian forest and the vast expanses of the sacred lake. The instructor will teach you how to control the vessel, and by the end of the journey you will be able to handle oars and freely control the kayak. The water in Baikal is quite cold - you may need a neoprene suit. It can be rented.
By 5 o'clock - return to Listvyanka, at 6 o'clock - departure to the city.
