Chersky Peak

DAY 1
Group gathering (place to be specified).
We load backpacks into the minibus and go on our trip to Slyudyanka. We have to drive 100 km along the winding Kultuk road. We reach the southernmost tip of Lake Baikal.
The observation deck offers a panoramic view of the Hamar-Daban Ridge and the ice-covered lake.
From the village of Kultuk, the Circum-Baikal Railway originates, and strictly to the west goes the road to the Tunkin Valley, along which young mountains are located under the name Sayany.
We reach the trail, where our journey to Chersky Peak begins.
The route is 18 kilometers long.
Climbing the river Slyudyanka to the "cafe", consisting of a pair of houses, baths and a small gazebo with a table.
Lunch with dry ration (with a thermos with hot, you can take nuts).
In the evening on arrival, we are waiting for accommodation at the recreation center "Chersky Peak".
Dinner at the campground.
Free time.

DAY 2
Breakfast.
After breakfast, we're on the trail.
On this day, we will climb Chersky Peak (2090 m above sea level) - the most popular peak of this area.
From the peak there is an endless view of the Hamar-Daban ridge. Snow-covered and mighty ridges that stretch from west to east and from a bird's eye view look like a crumpled cotton quilt, all this awaits us today.
Climbing is a gradual climb without any technical difficulty.
There are no very steep areas, rocks and glaciers. Our way starts from the camp on the "serpentine" of the old Starokomarinskaya road, then we go above the forest zone, from where a chic view of the weather station opens. A little more and we'll see the peak. Having passed the "flat" part of the path, we will go to the ascent of the crest, and if you look down, you will be pleasantly surprised by a heart-shaped lake covered with an ice crust. After that, a relatively difficult place is the main take-off, ending with the top. Let's take some wonderful pictures. We'll have a snack, have some hot tea and go back. Going down to the main road, we will pass to another mysterious place, Ice Falls. Back to the campground. Dinner. Exchange of impressions. Rest.

DAY 3
In the morning we will meet the dawn at the famous tourist shop and make fragrant coffee in Turkey. Breakfast. After breakfast, we collect our backpacks and go back to the city of Slyudyanka, along the path we already know. On the way, we will stop in a cafe to drink hot tea and snack. At the exit of the trail, we will be waiting for our bus, which will deliver to the city of Irkutsk. This is where our journey ends.
