We will walk along one of the most famous streets of the city - the main street of the city of Karl Marx, which before the revolution was called the Bolshoi. This street in the XVIII century was the border of the city, and in the XIX century there were theater, hotels, church and bank! I'm going to tell you about the history of this street, about the governors general, about the modern significance of the street in urban space.

You will find a story about the longest street in the historical part of Irkutsk – Karl Marx, formerly the Bolshoi, an architectural overview of the buildings and their history will also be presented. You will learn how the Bolshoi Street began in the XVIII century: the fortress wall, the city border, you will see photos of past years.
