Description:

The Angara is a big river. At the moment it is the largest tributary of the Yenisei. Also, this river is the only one in our country that flows from Lake Baikal. The river is long, more than 1,700 kilometers in length. Its entire basin exceeds 1,000,000 km2. The river is actively exploited. It already has several HPP stations. It is planned to build another one in the future. You can transport goods on the river only to certain places, since the river is full of different rapids. Of course, because of such a number of hydroelectric power plants in the river, it is heavily polluted. It's being fought now. The river flows through a number of major cities from which it can be reached.
