Lokomotiv Stadium in Irkutsk is a favorite meeting place for people leading an active lifestyle. It was founded in 1957 and is located on Botkin Street. The stadium complex consists of several buildings with a football field and a treadmill, the total area is more than 19 thousand square meters.
In 2007, the stadium was reconstructed and now it is a large sports facility that meets all modern requirements: electronic scoreboard, new stands and lawn, lighting masts. It can accommodate 3,231 fans.
Lokomotiv is the official field of the Zvezda team and the venue for matches of the football division of FC Radian – Baikal. On the basis of the stadium, 6 sports sections of popular destinations are actively developing. More than 200 students play sports for free.
