Warm Lakes - Lake Emerald

Without reaching Irkutsk 200 km. you can get a unique impression of what you saw. And all because in the area where the Snow River flows into the famous Lake Baikal, there are several warm lakes. One of them is Lake Emerald.

Tourists have not chosen this place for nothing. In summer, the water temperature in the reservoir reaches 25 degrees. Vacationers can simultaneously swim in the warm crystal water of the lake and at the same time admire the beauty of Lake Baikal.

Lake Emerald got its name for the bright greenish tint of water, which is also crystal clear and transparent.

Near the lakes rises Mount Capka Monamaha, climbing which you can admire the view of three lakes: "Emerald", "Fairy Tale" and "Warm Lake".

To get to the place you can follow to the p. Vydrino and at the left bank of the Snow River turn to the left.
