Waterfall on the Urick River

In the Okina district of Buryatia in the bowels of the Eastern Sayan, the unpredictable Urik River spilled. Powerful rapids and picturesque canyons attract fans of alloys from Russia and neighboring countries. The calling card of the river is rightfully considered a luxurious eight-meter waterfall, located two dozen kilometers from the exit of the river from the gorge.

The main landmark for travelers is the spit, which is located on the right bank in front of the waterfall. From this spit, you can observe water dust and the height difference of the Waterfall Canyon. There is also a convenient platform for landing helicopters of any purpose. And on the right under the waterfall is a museum of tourists.

Get to the waterfall in several ways:

• Helicopter from Irkutsk (ground for landing directly next to the waterfall)
• rafting on the Urik River: the starting point of the Monda settlement through 2 passes Hulgaishe and Zhithoz; the starting village of Hoyto-Gol to Hulgaishe, etc.; from Monda by car to Samarta, and from there to the village of Zun-Khalba
