Baikal Museum of INC SB RAS

Baikal Museum, located on the shore of the lakes. Baikal at the source of the Angara River, attracts the attention of all visitors to Siberia and Baikal, is included in the list of all-Russian tourist routes. Created by a large team of Baikal scientists, it illuminates the entire complex and balanced ecological system of the largest freshwater repository on earth. The uniqueness of the collections, a long series of observations of the nature of the lake, the high culture of the show makes it original and the most visited in the region.

The reconstruction of the museum has begun, including a “live exhibition” in larger aquariums.
