The Museum of Military Glory of the Irkutsk State Technical University is determined by the order of the rector No. 15 of January 11, 1975 and is a departmental museum assigned to the faculty of military training. The museum contains official documents, letters, photographs, awards, personal belongings of participants of the Great Patriotic War, as well as servicemen who served in the “hot spots” of the postwar period. Exhibits dedicated to the life, study, service of our valiant warriors are placed in 32 showcases in sections: “They fought for their Motherland”, “They died for their Motherland”, etc. Photos reflect the life of students of the military faculty during classrooms, as well as in the field at the training camps.
