Arshan, Tunkin Valley

The Tunkin Valley is an unflooded lowland surrounded by the mountains of Eastern Sayan and Hamar-Daban.
Numerous sacred places, some of which are thousands of years old, miraculous mineral springs, majestic Sayan, surrounding the picturesque Tunkin valley give the impression of an unreal paradise.

My trips to this region include, first of all, visiting the main places:

1. The resort "Arshan", located at the foot of the Eastern Sayan;
2. Waterfall on the river Kyngarga, walk to it from the resort;
3. “Stone rivers”, left after the descent from the mountains of mudflows in 2014, allow you to feel the power and greatness of the natural elements;
4. Buddhist datsan, as well as visiting the stupa "Many doors of happiness" at the entrance to the valley;
5. Drinking mineral springs of different temperatures in the resort;
6. Extinct volcanoes;
7. Solar and radio astronomy observatories located in the forest part of the valley overlooking the Sayan mountains;
8. The resort "Pearls" - a place of exit of mineral waters, it is possible to take baths and visit the pools filled with these waters.

It is also possible to visit additional places:

1. The resort "Nilova Pustin", located in the picturesque gorge of the river Yehe-Uhgun;
2. Nilovski datsan. Included in the list of 25 sacred places of Russia;
3. Hoyto-Gol, Historical and Ethnographic Museum. Dedicated to the life of the ancestors of Buryat;
4. Tamhi Baryaash Peace Pipe;
5. Mineral springs "Hongor-Uula" in the valley of the river Kharagun ("Younger brother of Shumak");
6. Church of the Intercession of the Most Holy Mother of God, Tunk village;
7. Source Suburgan, "Kingdom of the White Elephant" (Old Arshan);
8. "Papius Arshan";
9. The Throne of Genghis Khan;
10. The headwaters of the Irkut and Oka rivers, the very origins right in the Sayan mountains, surrounded by mountains more than 3000 meters high;

When traveling in one day from Irkutsk, you can see all the main things without much haste. If you plan for two days - it will be possible to visit many additional attractions, as well as spend more time at the springs and resorts.

The cost of a day trip from 18000 rubles for a small group (3-4 people). Travel for two or more days - from 15000 rubles a day. The price is indicated for the car, for any number of passengers (3-4). In high season, there are increased tariffs.

The price includes: meeting at the airport / hotel and delivery back; transfer on the program and to the end point on a comfortable Honda minibus; excursion service, selection of accommodation, advice on the terrain, resorts, etc.
The price is not included: swimming in the springs (baths, pools - up to 250 rubles per person), a ticket to the waterfall (150 rubles).
