History of the Baikal ice

Day 1

Nutrition: on your own

Meeting at 10 o'clock at the airport near the reference, boarding and transfer to Listvyanka. Drive along the famous Baikal road and meet Listvyanka. Visit and excursion in the Baikal Museum. You can visit the show nerp at will (pay yourself). Baikal Limnological Museum - it houses a nerpinarium, contains the most complete information about the nature of Lake Baikal. 11 large aquariums with a unique water supply and water exchange system, carrying out water intake from a depth of 400 m. Two separate combined aquariums contain seals. The exposition “Dive to the bottom of Baikal” works. After the museum, we will visit the local market, where you can taste local delicacies (smoked and dried fish). We are located here in Listvyanka. Day 2

Meals: breakfast

After breakfast, we gather and go to the Chersky observation mountain (if desired, you can climb on a chair lift (payment additionally) From the mountain there is a view of the river Angara and Baikal. After a walk to the choice of excursion (additional): Excursion to the museum of architecture "Taltsy". Excursion on the Circum-Baikal railway on a boat with an air cushion (according to the weather on the lake). The road was built in the early twentieth century and runs directly along Lake Baikal. It is striking that the path is near steep cliffs that descend directly into the lake. KBZD is considered a unique historical and cultural complex! 39 tunnels, 16 stone galleries, 248 bridges and viaducts! And it's all 70 kilometers!! Day 3

Today you will make a super trip to the Sandy Bay with an inspection of the ice, rocky shores of the Baikal region. After breakfast we go on a trip on the ice of Baikal. Our route begins at p. We inspect the rocks of the Big and Small Bell Tower or they are also called Grandma and Grandpa. On a sightseeing walk along the bay, we make the most beautiful photos of transparent ice, hummocks, etc. After exploring the bay picnic on the ice of Baikal. Landing in Hivus and moving to Big Holoustny. Here we will live at the campground. We have a rest, we share impressions, we have dinner (payment on the spot).

Day 4

You can watch the sunrise when you are in the Great Holoust and if you want to take beautiful photos of the dawn, you need to get up early. At dawn, the ice plays with unique colors. The beauty is fascinating! After breakfast, we walk along Baikal or for those who want to skate on the largest rink in the world. Let's go for a ride on Baikal. Unforgettable feelings of joy and admiration when you feel the ice under your feet. On skates, you can easily walk up to 10 or 20 km, while absolutely not feeling tired. If you do not know how to skate, then you can walk perfectly, feel the depth of Baikal! Skating we will see the bottom of Lake Baikal through the thickness of ice, feeling as if standing on a glass floor. After riding, a short walk through interesting places of the village of Bolshoy Holoustnoe. In the evening, we relax, share impressions and dine together (payment on the spot).

Day 5

Meals: breakfast

After an early breakfast, we say goodbye to Baikal, collect our luggage and return to Irkutsk. Group transfer along a picturesque highway. Completion of the programme
