Arrival in Irkutsk. Sightseeing tour to Listvyanka, the museum "Taltsy".

You will visit: the architectural and ethnographic museum "Taltsy", Shaman-Kamen, the limnological museum of Baikal, the fish market in Listvyanka.

Upon arrival in Irkutsk, your tour begins, today you will see the sacred Lake Baikal for the first time.

From the airport or railway station you will be met and picked up on a group transfer, and you will go towards Listvyanka along the picturesque Baikal road.

Listvyanka is located along the edge of Baikal village in the source of the Angara River, a kind of Mecca of tourism among all coming to Baikal, the starting point of many excursion routes on the lake. This is the closest place to the city where you can see the Pearl of Siberia.

On the way to Listvyanka you will visit an amazing and interesting place - the architectural and ethnographic open-air museum "Taltsy", where architectural monuments of past centuries are collected in a large area among the forest, the life and way of life of the indigenous population of the Baikal region are displayed, historical and cultural zones are recreated: Russian, Buryat, Evenki and Tofalar.

Without reaching Listvyanka, opposite the place where the Angara River flows from Baikal, the guide will tell a fascinating and beautiful legend. The source of the Angara itself is amazing - its width reaches almost a kilometer, and this place never freezes. In any frost on one side will be covered with solid ice Baikal, and on the other measured and powerful flow of the river. And this is where the legendary Shaman Stone is located - you can see it!

After that, you will visit the Baikal Limnological Museum, which not only conducts exposition and educational activities, but also continues to engage in serious scientific research, and therefore you will not learn such information about Baikal from first hand anywhere.

After the tour, you will stay in a hotel in Listvyanka, and you will have time for walks along the embankment, in walking distance there is a fish market - we recommend you to go there, there is a large variety of not only fish, but also local herbs, teas, berries, and souvenirs. Tomorrow you will go to the hidden pearl on Baikal, a place of incredible beauty!

2 DAY

Excursion to Peschanaya Bay.

You will visit: the ice of Baikal, the island of Baklany Stone, the Bay of Peschanaya, the Bay of Grandma, the Cape of the Big and Small Bell Towers, the Rock of Grandfather.

After breakfast at the Listvyanka hotel, you will go on a ship with a civus air cushion to Peschanaya Bay.

Hivus will gently slip along the mirror-smooth ice of Baikal. On the way you will enjoy the picturesque views: on the left side the path is framed by the majestic mountains of the Primorsky Range, and on the right - the endless ice surface of Baikal.

On the way to Peschanoy Bay you will stop at the village of Bolshaya Holoustnoye - this is the place where you can meet the largest accumulation of methane bubbles in the ice of Baikal! The spectacle is unforgettable and impressive - many beautiful photos are guaranteed to you!

After taking memorable pictures, you will continue the tour and stop at Baklanye Stone - the southern border of the vicinity of Peschanoy Bay, 3 km from it. In winter, the island is a granite monument resembling a tower on the east side.

From the Corklane Stone at hand to the Bay of Peschanoy. You will walk between the bays, each of which has its own charm, see the legendary stilt trees - a bizarre type of pine and larch, from the bases of which the wind blew out the soil and sand, exposing the roots It seems that the trees came out to "walk" towards Baikal. Sand Bay is sheltered by the capes of the Big and Small Bell Tower, picturesquely standing out against the background of the surrounding nature.

In the middle of the day you will have a picnic lunch in the fresh air, the end of the walk and the way back on the hive to Listvyanka.

3 DAY

Listvyanka - Olkhon road.

You will visit: Tazheran steppes, ice crossing, Cape Burkhan (shamanka rock).

After breakfast on a group transfer you will go to the heart of Lake Baikal – Olkhon Island.

Olkhon is truly unforgettable and one of the most famous places on Baikal, which is rightly called a place of power and especially powerful energy! Olkhon is considered a sacred territory, the concentration of shamanism in Central Asia. It is visited by pilgrims from all over the world.

You will depart from Listvyank early in the morning. Olkhon is an island on Baikal, they traditionally get there first by road, then by ice crossing in the winter. Before the crossing to Olkhon, the path will lie along the road with picturesque views - partially you will go along the Tazheran steppes, here and there decorated with rock remains.

Arriving on the island, you will settle in its center - the village of Khuzhir. In the evening you have free time, which you can spend exploring the surroundings of the village. In walking distance from the hotels on Olkhon is the visiting card of Baikal - Cape Burkhan (shamanka rock). Shamanka is included in the sights of the Baikal National Park. Be sure to walk to Shamanka - you will feel the energy ringing in the air, take many bright photos.

Enjoying the most beautiful views, saturated with the energy of the sacred place, your first day of travel to Olkhon comes to an end. Tomorrow you will have an even closer acquaintance with Baikal and Olkhon.

4 DAYS

Excursion to Cape Hoboy.

You will visit: Cape Sagan-Khushun, Cape Khoboy, ice of Baikal.

Today you will plunge even more into the atmosphere of Lake Baikal.

After breakfast, you go on a tour. Today you will find a real adventure on the legendary Baikal ice. You will go to the northern part of Olkhon, see from the ice the outlines and amazing images of Olkhon coastal rocks, marble walls of Cape Sagan-Khushun. The longest time you will spend at Cape Khoboy - its rocky steep banks in these places resemble animal fangs, which absolutely emphasizes the name (from the language of the local population the name translates as "fang"). From the ice, the outlines of the cape resemble the figure of a woman - this is associated with an interesting local legend, which you will be told during the excursion.

In the middle of the day you will have a picnic lunch in the fresh air, surrounded by the winter Baikal beauty of nature.

The tour takes place with stops in the most beautiful places where you can take beautiful photos. If you wish, you can skate, be sure to take them with you. If necessary, you can rent skates (check with the organizer of your tour, rental skates are not included in the price).

Returning to the hotel, you will have a free evening.

Depending on the ice situation, an excursion to the north of Olkhon on the ice will be replaced by a tour on land, that is, the movement will be on the ground without leaving for the ice. All designated locations will be visited. The difference is only in the review – from the ice, tourists watch the capes from below, walk on ice, on land – before the eyes of tourists, pictures of the vast Baikal from above open up.

5 DAY

Excursion to the south and the islands of the Small Sea.

You will visit: Ogoi Island, Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment, grottoes, ice of Baikal.

The tour begins at 10.00, the duration is about 5-6 hours. The trip will take place on the ice of Lake Baikal along the southern part of Olkhon Island and the islands of the Small Sea.

You will see frozen water splashes in grottoes and caves, in which icicles and scoops of amazing shapes have frozen in an interesting way.

You will visit one of the most beloved tourist places on Lake Baikal - on the island of Ogoi. Ogoi Island is the largest island in the Small Sea with a length of 3 km. The most photographed and recognizable place on the island is the sacred Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment. Many people come to Baikal only for the sake of visiting this place – to be purified and recharged with spiritual energy. And there is a belief that if you walk around the stupa 3 times and make a wish - it comes true. Shall we try to check?

On the way, you will stop at the island to reach the lake, which is famous for its bubbles in the ice.

In the middle of the day you will have a picnic lunch in the fresh air surrounded by Baikal beauty.

Today you will have a lot of photos from the tour - it is impossible to resist and not to capture all the icy beauty!

In the evening you will return to Khuzhir, where you will have the opportunity to relax or spend your free time at your discretion.

The tour can be replaced due to ice conditions. As an alternative, a car excursion “To the South of Olkhon Island” is offered. Excursion to the south involves a visit to the observation deck "Field Stan", Lake Khankhoy (Yalga), the rock "Trident". A detailed tour program will be provided upon replacement.

6 DAY

Return to Irkutsk.

You will visit: Irkutsk.

On this day we say goodbye to Olkhon and go to Irkutsk.

After breakfast at the hotel on a group transfer you will go back through the ice crossing to the mainland and from there to the city.

In the evening you will have free time, which can be devoted to rest, walk around the city, buy souvenirs.
