Programme:

5 days on the ice of Lake Baikal by car and amphibious boat HIVUS. You will see sparkling Caves with ice stalactites and giant Spits on the rocks. Day 1

Olkhon Island Throat singing and homus Ethnopark "Golden Horde" Rock "Shamanka"

We leave at 09.00 from Irkutsk by minibus to Olkhon Island. We will visit the Ethnopark "Golden Horde", it is included in the top 10 best ethnic parks in Russia. Here you will be greeted with a colorful rite of consecration with fire, listen to national throat singing, play on the homus, complete with a joint ritual dance and receive well wishes in the Buryat traditions. The true greeting of Baikal with all honors! Then you will have a hot lunch and familiarity with traditional cuisine: delicious bouzas and other Buryat treats. After breakfast, we go to the Northern Excursion. You are waiting for the iconic place of Olkhon's power - Cape Khoboy. We will visit Cape Sagan-Hushun (three Brothers) and the cave right under Big Brother. The caves in winter are a real "Narnia" with ice stalactites and stalagmites. We will admire the islands of Lvivnok and Crocodile, the picturesque cape of Harants and grottoes nearby. Lunch and a rich ear of omul are waiting for you in the middle of Lake Baikal. Let's go home after lunch, late at night. In our free time: we can walk around Khuzhir, get acquainted with the local color and sights. Day 3

"Southern Excursion" Lake Nura Island Ogoi Ear from omul Dragon Rock Banya with a hole in Baikal

After breakfast, we will go to the South Tour. First on the island we will go to the observation room with a view of the Strait of Maloe Sea and Khuzhir, as well as to Lake Nura with bubbles, then we will go along the island to the South. The first point is Ogoi Island. At the highest point of the island is the Buddhist Stupa of Enlightenment. It is believed that it has a purpose to dissolve negative obstacles and promote prosperity. According to tradition, we will walk around the stupa three times, charging with the energy of this sacred place. The island is simply charming, saturated with an atmosphere of harmony and peaceful energy. For lunch you will find a traditional Buryat ear in a picturesque place. And of course, Dragon Rock is one of the top locations for photos! We will also visit the island of Zamogoi and the Cape “Mare’s Head” (Horin Irga). There will be a lot of ice with intricate patterns, huge Sokui - ice splashes on the rocks, shining grottoes! In the evening, you will find a hot steam bath with a hole right in Baikal. This is an unforgettable experience and energy for the year ahead! A great end to the day will be a dinner together. Night at the same base.

Day 4

After breakfast we leave our house and load on the amphibious boat HIVUS. This is the most reliable and unusual ship. It moves on ice, on water and overcomes any cracks. Therefore, you can visit the most inaccessible and unusual places. To get to the south of Baikal, we will drive almost 200 km on open ice! You will find the Olkhon Gate Strait and the exit to the “Big Baikal”. Along the way - those legendary lace of ice cracks and kilometers of clear clear ice. We will choose the perfect place to ride skates. This is one of the most memorable moments, according to our guests. You will see huge Torosi made of transparent blue ice above the human height in Krestova Bay. And to take photos with the long-awaited Methane bubbles, we will stop at Buguldeika. You will be amazed at their size and patterns on the ice! We will visit one of the warmest and most authentic places - Peschanaya Bay. On the shore you will see stilt trees that amaze with their shape and size. And also walk through the pine forest with views of the bay from the height of the cape. Here we will arrange a picnic lunch in the fresh air with views of nature. And a kiss from Baikal. I wonder if you have any idea what this is? : In the evening we will reach the village of Listvyanka. We're staying in comfortable rooms. Dinner and rest.

Day 5

Final day Fish Market Chersky Stone Baikal Museum Taltsy Museum

After breakfast, you can walk to Baikal to say goodbye. Be sure to look at the local market fair "Gifts of Baikal", where you can buy delicious smoked fish, pine nuts and souvenirs. After leaving the hotel, we will visit the Baikal Limnological Museum. Here you will learn about the animal and plant world of the lake, the structure and origin of Lake Baikal. And most importantly, you will see a live Nerpa! Then we will climb on the cable car to the Chersky Stone - this is the mountain peak of the Primorsky Range, 728 m high. From the observation deck, Baikal and the source of the Angara are clearly visible, on the border between them the Shaman-stone, Listvyanka itself, the port of Baikal and the old railway, which from here seems to be a toy.

Then we will go to the architectural and ethnographic museum of Taltsy in the open air.

It is a unique collection of monuments of history, architecture and ethnography. You will get acquainted with the culture of the peoples of the Baikal region: Russian, Buryat, Evenki and Tofalar. Return to Irkutsk in the evening, approximately at 18.00. Goodbye until we meet again!
