Tour program.

Day 1.

Food: Independently.

Meet at the airport at the information desk at 10.00 am in Irkutsk (please schedule your arrival in advance, waiting time not more than 15 minutes). Right from the airport we begin a sightseeing tour of the city. You will visit the historical and modern part of Irkutsk. Today Irkutsk is the fifth largest city in Siberia. After acquaintance, we go along the Baikal road to Baikal to the village of Listvyanka, where the Angara River originates. We visit the excursion in the Limnological Museum, where scientific research is presented and the best exhibits are collected and there are aquariums. After the museum free time: visit the fish market, lunch, relax. We advise you to try omul hot smoking! After examining P. Listvyanka, we return to Irkutsk. Accommodation in Irkutsk or the village Listvyanka (a hotel of such a plan as Irkutsk, Europe Mayachok, Empire, Star, etc.). Depends on the schedule of the excursion to the CBR).

Note: In the event of a delay for any reason, tourists independently catch up with the group. We recommend arriving the day before the tour begins!

Day 2.

Meals: Breakfast.

Breakfast at the hotel. Today you have time to relax, get acquainted with the city or visit other excursions. It is advisable to book excursions when buying a tour. We offer you to visit the Circum-Baikal Railway Excursion (KBZhD) (at your own expense). The tour will take place along Baikal. It is striking that the path runs past steep cliffs that descend directly into the lake. KBZD is considered a unique historical and cultural complex! Tunnels, stone galleries, bridges and viaducts! And all this is 85 km! (the place of gathering of the group is indicated in the ticket). Arrive in Irkutsk in the evening. Transfer to the hotel by yourself. Accommodation in the hotel depending on the selected category. Completion at 22:00 - 23:00. No less interesting is a water excursion to Peschanaya Bay (duration up to 8 hours) or if you wanted to see the mountain ranges of the Big Eastern Sayan, we offer an excursion to the Tunkinsk valley.

Day 3.

Meals: Breakfast.

After breakfast at the hotel, we go in a group to Olkhon Island (transfer by minibus and for small groups of up to 6 people, only accompanied by a driver). Moving to the island of Olkhon passes along a picturesque highway, markedly different from the road to Listvyanka. On the road, the steppe landscape prevails and in the distance to the right in motion you can see the mountains behind which Baikal is located (we go about 5-6 hours). Lunch in the roadside cafe, where you can try the national dish buuse (paid independently). At the crossing in the Small Sea, we move on the Olkhon Gate ferry, which overlooks the eastern shore of Baikal. Olkhon Island is a national park, the roads here are only country roads. Accommodation at the tourist recreation center in Khuzhir p. After rest, a short walk and acquaintance with the village, visit Shamanka. Dinner yourself in one of the cafes of the village or tourist center. Try the local cuisine.

Day 4.

Meals: Breakfast. Lunch.

Today you have to go to the north of Olkhon, the trip will take a whole day. Breakfast and go on a trip to Cape Khoboy (5-6 hours). On the way, visit the legendary rock “Three Brothers” and the romantic Cape of Love. You will see the beautiful Virgin and climb on the saddle of Genghis Khan. In good weather, the Holy Nose is visible from Khoboy and you may see the seal, which arranged a rookery under the cape itself. There is a certain energy at the Cape. It is advisable to visit such places only with good thoughts. We dine here on Khoboya, having rested, we go to the base. Dinner at one of the cafes of the village or hotel.

Attention! A sightseeing trip on the island of Olkhon is carried out on UAZ class cars (group teams). The roads on the island are not paved, but country roads.

Day 5.

Meals: Breakfast.

It's a free day. When buying a tour, you can order additional excursions or purchase on site at the tourist base. After breakfast, rest and excursions. We recommend buying a water excursion to the island of Ogoi, with a visit to the Buddhist stupa. The Buddhist Stupa is a building that has a cult significance and means in translation “support for offerings”. There are several thousand such stupas in the world. And in our country it is only in Kalmykia and we have on Baikal. There you will pass through three stages, past, future and present. You will make a wish that will come true. We have lunch and dinner on our own in a cafe or hotel. You can also visit the caves of the Baikal region or the healing lake, a large selection of excursions on ships is also offered. Walk along the ecological trail, which is available in the Sarai Bay, and there to sunbathe (weather permitting!!)

Day 6.

Meals: Breakfast.

Breakfast and getting ready to leave. You can walk around the village, buy souvenirs that remind you of the island, say goodbye to Baikal! or Until new meetings! Return from the island of Olkhon on the same road as part of the national team on a minibus to Irkutsk. We have lunch on the road (at our own expense). We rest and in our free time we walk independently around the city of Irkutsk, inspect the sights. In the evening, transfer to the railway station and departure by train to the city of Ulan-Ude (departure time is specified in advance). We say goodbye to Irkutsk and go to Ulan-Ude.

Day 7.

Food: Independently.

Tour to Mongolia. Meeting. Breakfast on your own. Early transfer from Ulan-Ude to Ulaanbaatar by international bus. At about 12.00 p.m., arrival in Kyakhtu at the border. Customs clearance. After crossing the border, lunch in one of the cafes of Mongolian cuisine (at your own expense). A small amount of money can be exchanged right after crossing the border. The road is very picturesque, sometimes you can see huge herds of pets. The estimated time of arrival in Ulaanbaatar is 19-20 hours. Accommodation in the hotel depending on the option you choose. Rest. Dinner on your own in the restaurant of Ulaanbaatar. A huge number of meat dishes, but also almost everywhere can be cooked without meat.

Day 8.

Food: Independently.

Breakfast (at your own expense). Sightseeing tour of Ulaanbaatar. During the tour you will visit the central Buddhist monastery of Mongolia "Gandan Tegchenlin". It houses one of the largest statues of the Buddhist deity Avolakiteshvara, 25 meters high. You will also see the central square of Ulaanbaatar named after the Mongolian revolutionary figure Sukhe Bator. And in the center of the government building is a sculptural composition of the throne, on which Genghis Khan sits, surrounded by horsemen on horses. Lunch in the city cafe (at your own expense). Return to the hotel in Ulaanbaatar. Dinner (at your own expense).

Day 9.

Food: Independently.

Breakfast (at your own expense). Departure to the Terelge Nature Park, where you will see the beauty of mountain peaks climb one of them. You can take a photo near the Turtle Nature Monument, Dinosaur Park. Free time for hiking and horseback riding in Terelge Park. Impressions will be unforgettable and many bright photos can bring home.

Lunch on your own. Transfer to the area of Tsejin Boldog visiting a giant statue of Genghis Khan on horseback. Visiting the museum. In the evening we return to Ulaanbaatar, where you can visit the shopping complexes of cashmere factories. Buy a product that is not produced anywhere like in Mongolia. Prices are usually 5-10 times lower.

Accommodation in the hotel and depending on the chosen option. Dinner on your own.

Day 10.

Food: Independently.

Breakfast (at your own expense). Departure to Ulan-Ude early in the morning by international bus. We will see the unusual views of Mongolia again. Steppe landscapes, mountains, and sometimes forest. The approximate time of arrival in the city of Ulan-Ude is about 20:00.
