Memorial House-Museum of I.S.Konev

22 October 1977 in d. Lodeino, in the homeland of the Marshal of the Soviet Union, twice the hero I.S. Konev, in his home, opened a house-museum.

The exposition of the museum presents materials reflecting all aspects of Konev’s life and activities. Visitors will get acquainted with the village farmstead of the late XIX - early XX century, with the objects of labor and life of peasants. Documents, photos, personal belongings of the marshal, visually complement the story of the guide. In the windows of the museum there are gifts and souvenirs presented to Konev from military colleagues, labor collectives, from foreign countries. The exterior of the museum is the house where Konev was born and lived, a square with a bust, Vuchetich’s works, an exhibition hall, a lecture hall and a library.
