About the company:
Sanchurian Historical Museum was founded in November 1967. The exhibition covers the period from 1584 to the present. Museum collections are located in four halls: the Historical Hall, the Hall of Military Glory, the Hall of Folk Art, the Hall of Honorary Citizens. The Sanchurian Museum is located in the building of the second half of the XIX century. Currently, the fund has more than 9,000 items of storage.
It offers interactive and traveling exhibitions, museum lessons and vacation programs, exhibitions of folk art crafts and decorative and applied arts. With students of educational institutions of the district, activities on civic and patriotic education are carried out. The museum organizes meetings with famous residents, veterans of war and labor, actively participates in the interregional festival of Vyatka-Mari friendship “My Small Homeland”.
