Exhibition hall of the cultural center "House of Ozerov"

"House of Ozerov" - an architectural monument of the late XVIII - early XIX centuries. It's built in classic style. The author of the project of the house is considered the famous architect Matvey Kazakov, who arrived in Kolomna in 1778 at the behest of Empress Catherine II. The house received its name from the name of the owner, merchant of the I Guild A.S. Ozerov, who left a good memory of his generous charity.
Exhibition work in the halls of the mansion began in 1980. The first exhibition was dedicated to the 600th anniversary of the Battle of Kulikovo. For 25 years of active work, more than 350 exhibitions were organized, where the best masters of fine arts of Kolomna, Moscow, other regions of Russia, near and far abroad showed their works.
Close ties of cooperation connected the "House of Ozerov" with the Moscow State Specialized School of Watercolors S.N. Andriyaki, with the VGIK named after S.A. Gerasimov, the Ryazan Art School named after G.K. Wagner, the V.I. Surikov Moscow State Academy of Arts, with the studio of military artists named after M.B. Grekov. Decorative and applied art at the vernissages was represented by masters of art crafts Fedoskin, Pavlovoposad, Gzhelya, Zhostov, Duleva.
The main exhibition hall is also a concert hall with excellent acoustics. Concert evenings and musical and literary salons please Kolom residents and guests of the city with programs in which leading artists of Kolomna, Moscow and Moscow region, students and teachers of the State Medical University take part. Gnesinykh, world-class instrumentalists, including Moscow Opera and Music Theatres, the State Moscow Conservatory, the All-Russian Musical Society, the Bolshoi State Theatre.
Cultural center "House of Ozerov" is the main cultural and educational center of Kolomna.
