In Tokyo, the peak of flowering will be in early April, the last to bloom trees in the north of Japan – on the island of Hokkaido.
This is the most popular time to visit the Asian country, including Russians. In 2024, our compatriots can fly to Japan only with a transfer. The most popular connecting flights departing from Moscow are to Abu Dhabi, Istanbul and Beijing.

Another magical natural phenomenon is the flowering of tulips, which lasts almost all of April! And you can watch it right on the main streets of the two cities for free: in Amsterdam - on Dam Square, at the Van Gogh Museum and in the Botanical Garden, in Istanbul - on the square near the famous Sultanahmet mosque, as well as in the Emirgan and Gulhan parks.
Flying to Turkey today is not a problem - from major cities of Russia there are regular direct flights directly to Istanbul. To get to the Netherlands directly Russians can only by invitation from relatives.
However, if you do not have close family members in the Dutch capital, it is not a problem. You can enter the country with a Schengen visa. The fastest and easiest way to get it is through Italy, France and Spain.
