The unique part of the fund: memorial items of A.S. Popov, A.P. Karpinsky, E.S. Fedorov. Local history collections were collected by the tracers of the city of Krasnoturinsk and merged into the collections of the memorial museum of A.S. Popov. In 1977, at the expense of the Theological Aluminum Plant, a special building was built for the history department, where the history of Krasnoturinsk and its enterprises from the X1 century to the present day is presented. |

The exhibition tells about the village of Turinsky mines, where in 1859 A.S. Popov was born, about the life of the Popov family in the Turin mines, about the educational activities of parents among the population, about the work of A.S. Popov on the invention of radio. The works of the scientist and numerous books about him are presented.
First President of the Russian Academy of Sciences A.P. Karpinsky
The exhibition is dedicated to the life and work of the “father of Russian geology” and is presented by the personal archive of A.P. Karpinsky, family household items, photographs, the correspondence of the scientist with scientific societies is presented.
Pilot A.K. Serov
The exhibition is dedicated to the short but bright life of the famous Soviet ace. It reveals his participation in battles with the fascists in the units of the volunteer aviation of the republican Spain. Museum objects present his activities as a pilot-teacher, tester. Documents submitted. telling about the assignment of A.K. Serov the title of major-general of aviation and the title of Hero of the Soviet Union.
