Metallurg-Magnitogorsk

"Bannoye" or ski center "Metallurg-Magnitogorsk" is located in the mountains of the Southern Urals. The ski center is located on the shore of Lake Bannoe (Yakty-Kul) 40 km from the city of Magnitogorsk and 25 km from the Abzakovo ski complex. The ski center has good potential to become a high-level ski resort with tracks suitable for all levels of skill. The slopes are facing east. They are equipped with gondola-type lifts manufactured by Doppelmeier (Austria) and Tatrapoma (Slovakia). The tracks are equipped with a snow-capping system of the Italian company Technoalpin (the installation includes an automatic operation mode of the water intake and pump-compressor stations). The slopes are equipped with gondola-type lifts manufactured by Doppelmayer (Austria) and bugel-type lifts by Tatrapoma (Slovakia). On the high-speed gondola lift No. 1 there are eight-seat cabins. The length of the lift is 1700 meters; capacity - 2800 people per hour, travel time - 5.5 minutes.
