Magnitogorsk Local History Museum

Magnitogorsk Museum of Local Lore was established in 1944. Of particular value in the exposition of the museum are the unique collections of samovars, Russian copper and artistic casting, the archive of works by the famous poet B. Ruchev and the collection of ancient archaeological burial grounds of the Malo-Kizilsk village and Aganovo-II. The permanent exhibition of the museum is also “History of Magnitka – History of the Country”, reflecting the period called “the time of building socialism in the USSR”.
