Sulak Canyon and Barhan "Sarykum"

We invite you to an unforgettable journey through the Sulak Canyon - one of the most striking sights of Dagestan.

At the very beginning of our journey we will visit the Chirkey Reservoir. This largest body of water in the North Caucasus is located in the narrow gorge of the Sulak River, it is often called the “sea in the mountains”. The places here are unusually picturesque.

Next, we will go to the main observation deck in the village of Dubki, where you can walk along the cliff and admire the beauty of the Sulak canyon from a bird's eye view.

We will also visit the new tourist site of Dagestan - mountain caves "Nohyo". The caves are connected by a suspension bridge located at an altitude of 60 m above the Sulak River, on both sides of which there are observation decks, from where just magical views open.

You are waiting for a walk in the trout farm "Glavryba".

In conclusion, we will visit another unique natural site in Dagestan – Barkhan Sarykum, which is the second largest in the world. Where in the Dagestan foothills came such a huge amount of sand - a mystery that gave rise to many legends.
