Mysteries of Lake Turgoyak

Travel to the most beautiful lake of the Southern Urals - Turgoyak. Turgoyak is called the younger brother of Baikal for the crystalline purity of the water. In the middle of Lake Turgoyak there is a small island on which many millennia ago a stormy and mysterious life was boiling, which does not fit into the framework of the consciousness of modern man-century. We will learn the secrets and legends of the island of Vera, see the dolmens, relax on the shore of the lake.

We will discover the legends and history of the beautiful city of Chrysostom, we will visit the operating weapons workshop, walk through the fabulous park of P.P. Bazhov, and also climb the Bell Tower, from the observation deck of which we will admire the city surrounded by majestic mountains.

We will also visit the city of Miass and the Museum of the Ilmensky Reserve. We will learn about how the largest gold nugget in Russia was found - the famous "Miass triangle", we will visit the company store-cafe of the Chaokof factory and the Park of giant figures "Bureaucrat".

• Day 1. Chrysostom - the city of gunsmiths (Friday)

  6:00 Departure from Perm. From Theatre "Theatre", Lenin Street, 53. An ambulance stop is en route. Travel information, movie review.

  13:30 Arrival in Chrysostom. Comprehensive lunch at the cafe.

  14:30 Excursion to the existing weapons production. Forge workshop with interactive program, exhibition hall, souvenir shop.

  16:00 – 19:00 Sightseeing tour with ascent to Mount Kosotur: Historical Center – Armory Factory, Arsenal, the House of the Mining Chief, the Monument to Anosov, the Temple Complex of Seraphim of Sarov, Red Hill.

  Mount Kosotour can rightly be considered the hallmark of Chrysostom. It is located in the historical center. There is an ecological trail with a total length of 3.5 km, equipped with two observation decks; at the beginning of the trail, a 120-meter staircase march has been mounted, information houses have been installed along the entire route.

  Red hill: the monument to I. Chrysostom, the chapel of the saint, the Mountain Park of P. Bazhov, the observation deck. Free time: there are souvenir shops and cafeteria "Veselukhin spoon", where you can enjoy aromatic tea from a giant samovar (68 l), infused on Ural herbs.

  For those who wish: climb to the bell tower with an excursion in the exhibition halls. From the observation deck of the Tower offers a chic view of the majestic ridges of the Ural Mountains. The bell is included in the price. (for an additional fee, paid when booking a tour).

  19:00 Dinner at the cafe.

  19:40 Moving to the post. Turgoyak, check-in.

  20:30 free time. You can walk along the coastline or along the paths in the pine forest.

• Day 2: Miass and the Island of Faith (Saturday)

  4:30 Meeting of dawn on the shore of the lake (for those who wish)

  9:00 Breakfast in the restaurant at the recreation center.

  10:00 Departure to Miass. Travel information.

  11:00 Excursion to the Natural Science Museum of the Ilmensky State Reserve. In the Ilmen Hall you will hear a story about the main milestones of studying the Ilmen Mountains and get acquainted with the history of the creation of the Ilmen Reserve. In the Mineralogy Hall, visitors will enjoy the beauty of unique samples of minerals and rocks from the deposits of our country and from abroad. In the Biological Hall, the guide will tell you a lot of interesting things about animals, birds, fish and insects of the Ilmensky Reserve, the Chelyabinsk region and the Urals as a whole.

  12:30 Visit to the company store of the Chaokofe factory! Own production of freshly roasted coffee, craft chocolate and desserts, as well as delicious Miass filling! Time to buy delicious souvenirs.

  13:10 - Return to base

  14:00 lunch at the base restaurant.

  15:00 - 18:00 - for those who wish a river trip on a yacht with a tour of the island of Vera (for an additional fee; the number of seats is limited! You need to make an appointment when booking a tour. Excursion is NOT guaranteed - depends on weather conditions and the number of available seats on yachts; paid additionally, in cash on the spot yachtsman.

  19:00 dinner at the restaurant.

  Overnight. Free time.

• Day 3. Turgoyak and Giant Sculpture Park (Sunday)

  9:00 breakfast at the base restaurant

  10:00 Head to bed. Turgoyak to the central beach. Those who wish can visit the Temple of Archangel Michael and the wooden Temple of the Royal Passion-Bearers in the village of Turgoyak.

  11:00 rest on the lake. Walk along the picturesque pine alley along the lake.

  12:30 Visit to the park of giant stationery "Bureaucrat". Here you can see not only a can-tselar button with a diameter of two meters, four-meter scissors, a rostomer ruler two and a half meters high, a nine-meter paperclip, but also read the “birthline” of the subject on the information stand located nearby. Time for a photo shoot (for your cameras). Check into the grocery store.

  13:00 back to base.
