What do we even know about her? Many people know that Matrona was blind, that she worked miracles, know that she was canonized by the Orthodox Church. But do we know how she lived, why she was canonized, why she got the right to be called a saint? Matrona is the person who consciously gave up all worldly and vain, all material, in order to preserve his miraculous gift of healing and predicting the future. And the greatest miracle that she is doing today is that she leads thousands of people to faith. After all, it is impossible, having received the help of a saint, not to be imbued with faith.
