My name is Valeria Polyanchikova. I am an accredited guide-interpreter in Moscow, conducting tours in three languages: Russian, English and German, experience as a translator and guide in large international projects - 20 years. Moscow is an old city. Yury Dolgoruki founded it in 1147. In the early 12th century, Prince Yury was Prince of Vladimir and Suzdal, and Prince of Kiev at the same time. Those days, Kiev was the capital of the country called Kievan Rus. Kiev was in the south and Vladimir was in the north, so it was difficult to live and rule in both towns at the same time. Yury lived and ruled in Kiev and his son Andrey in Vladimir. Many years passed. Prince Yury was an old man and he decided to visit his son. He and his men set off to Vladimir. Their journey was long and difficult. One day, when they were in a dark forest, Prince Yury suddenly saw a large white cloud. The cloud slowly turned into a huge animal with three heads. Then, it disappeared. “It’s a sign!” said Prince Yury’s adviser. This is the place for a great city. Everyone laughed at him. A few hours later they reached a small village on the bank of the Moskva River. The ruler of the place was boyarin Stepan Kuchko. He did not open the gates and a fight began. Prince Yuri and his men won the battle. It was then that the Prince said, “This is a place for a new town. I will build it here and call it Moskva”. Today Moscow is the capital of Russia and one of the most famous cities in the world. Наше путешествие начнется от Площади трех вокзалов. По улице Мясницкой мы доедем до Орликова переулка, где посмотрим уникальную архитектуру XIX века: усадьбу Орлика, Чайный домик, дом историка Черткова, Дом фарвора.  Затем поднимемся на Лубянку, увидим здание ФСБ, Детского  мира, Ивановскую горку, Церковь Всех Святых на Кулишках, древнюю Варварку. И вот мы у места основания столицы нашей Родины – Боровицкого холма. Мы увидим Красную площадь, Спасскую башню, Мавзолей и собор Василия Блаженного С Софийской набережной увидим самую красивую панораму Кремля, Храм Христа Спасителя.Помните картинку, которая раньше была в букваре у каждого советского школьника , она называлась "С чего начинается Родина"?  Именно ее мы и увидим. Дом Пашкова, Музей изобразительных искусств им.Пушкина, Храм Христа Спасителя, Парк Горького, Лужники - практически ни одна достопримечательность Москвы не останется не увиденной. И, конечно, же полюбуемся панорамой Москвы со смотровой площадки на Воробьевых горах. Посетим улицу Мосфильмовскую, сфотографируемся у памятника Евгению Леонова, увидим площадь звезд нашего кинематографа. Затем мы посетим посольский городок, увидим самые лучшие  и дорогие новостройки Москвы. На Кутузовском проспекте нас ждет Триумфальная арка, музей-панорама Бородинской биты, уникальный архитектурный комплекс «Москва-Сити». Оттуда мы направимся к Новому и Старому Арбату.
