First tour in this format
will take place on 20.06.2020 at 12.00 on the Novospassky Monastery and Krutitsky Compound. You will hear an interesting story about the history of the foundation of the monastery, which was founded by the holy Prince Daniel in the XIII century. Later the monastery was moved to Borovitsky hill, and at the end of the XV century - to Krutitsy. We will also visit the tomb of the ancestors of the Romanovs, consider the unique frescoes and paintings of the Transfiguration Cathedral, sculptural monuments and tombstones located on the territory of the monastery. After visiting the Novospassky Monastery, we will visit the nearby Krutitskoye compound, which is a unique architectural monument of the XVII century.
