Ancient Moore on the Oka

Dear friends! I invite you to Murom - a city located in the Vladimir region on the left bank of the Oka. A sightseeing tour of Murom is a journey, the historical canvas of which covers almost twelve centuries! Founded in 862, there is so much to tell and show.

Let us remember the epics and the glorious path of the famous Ilya Muromets, coming to the ark with a particle of his relics that rest in the ancient Transfiguration Monastery (founded in the 11th century). Moore is rich in amazing panoramas. One of them will open to us from the height of the former Kremlin mountain. And, of course, we will not ignore the monument to the kalach, the water tower, created in the 19th century at the expense of the mayor Alexei Ermakov. We will admire the bridges of Murom, walk along its streets and alleys, get acquainted with the history of life of famous citizens. If you wish, we will walk through the halls of the Murom Museum and visit the homeland of the holy hero Ilya Muromets - Karacharovo.
