The museums of the complex are folk, created and developed thanks to the enthusiasm of the Myshkins. The National Ethnographic Museum was formed as a children's public organization on a voluntary basis. The complex of the National Museum includes six museums: The museum of the capital of pilots, shows the life of the old city, which flourished thanks to pilotage and merchant business, it contains a rich and diverse collection of household items, one of the largest collections of spinning wheels in Russia, a collection of temple sculpture, weapons, and furniture from the cap, presents the ancient past and the Soviet period. - The Museum of P.A. Smirnov tells about the history of Smirnovsky, a family that came from the Myshkin lands, from the village of Kayurovo. Here are the items that remember the ancestral places of the Smirnovs, and a collection of wine and vodka dishes of the XIX-XX centuries. The Museum of Unique Technology shows a collection of monuments of science and technology of the XIX-XX centuries. A collection of cars and motor vehicles, various agricultural machines and units, military equipment and river vessels is presented. The Museum of Technology, today, is the only one in the entire Upper Volga region. The Museum of Small Forms of Peasant Architecture (historical and ethnographic in the open air) is also the only one in the Yaroslavl region. Here are shown granaries and barns, chapels and forges, a bathhouse and a collective farm rig, a mill and a village fire station. The museum is the only one in the world. It is not without reason that our motto is Mice of all countries, unite in Myshkin! To date, this small cozy museum has collected more than five thousand exhibits, among them mice heroes of fairy tales and cartoons, gifts of famous people and mice made by the hands of children and adults - fans of a small fast animal. The Museum of the Uchem region is located in the beautiful village of Uchma, not far from the place where once there was the Kassianov-Uchem desert; a monastery built by the monk Cassian the Greek. The former glory of those places will be told by the Uchem Museum through the mouth of the public director, local historian, forester and magnificent carpenter Vasily Guryevich Smirnov. The National Museum has its own flag. To this day, the museum has preserved a staff of community employees, children and adults who help to live and develop this public organization. They go on expeditions and participate in scientific conferences, lead excursions and carpenters, repair ancient equipment and work in archives. The museum traditionally hosts friendly evenings and museum councils where the life of the organization is planned and then for friendly tea, world problems and Myshkin events are discussed, songs are sung and poems are read. |
