About the company:
The National Museum of the KBR, founded in the first years of Soviet power on the initiative of the leaders of the republic, is now a repository of rich stock material that makes it possible to recreate the history of the indigenous peoples of the republic from ancient times.
The head museum has seven halls of permanent exhibition and three exhibition halls. The museum funds consist of six collections, including “Archaeology”, “Ethnography”, “Dragmetals and Weapons”, “IZO and Photo Library”.
The rich collections of the museum are the basis of its scientific professionally developed expositions, numerous exhibitions created during the year both in the exhibition halls of the head museum and in its branches, and in the museums of the country with which the National Museum of the CBD maintains close relations.
Many of the exhibits of the museum, according to Professor A. D. Stoljar (St. Petersburg), "... have become textbook, since no textbook of archaeology is complete without their description." It is the monuments stored here that allowed scientists to organically link the history of the peoples of the North Caucasus with the history of the central regions of our Fatherland.
The value of the ethnographic collection is recognized and widely known. The objects of this collection are constantly exhibited in the republic, and also repeatedly exported outside its borders, causing universal admiration.
