About the company:
Nevyansk State Historical and Architectural Museum was established in April 2002. The history of the museum begins much earlier. Sources call different dates of its creation: 1913, 1920-ies, 1930, 1947.
The pride of the museum is its collection. Over 55 years, the funds received about 40 thousand items. Collections on fisheries of the region were formed:
- chest-like
- booty
- grasshopper
- weaver
- pottery
- gold-mining
Most of them are in the historical exhibition. The exposition of the museum also presents archaeological monuments of Ayat Lake and Shigir peatland.
Documents reflecting the history of the creation and development of the Nevyansk plant. You will see a portrait of Nikita Demidov, painted in the early XVIII century by an unknown artist. Get acquainted with the life of the Nevyansk plant of the XIX-XX centuries, with the history of the region in the first half of the XX century.
