Complex Museum of Nizhnekamsk

The museum presents exhibits representing various areas of life of the region - from ancient times to modern scientific achievements. “History of the City” is an exposition that presents objects, materials and documents about the pioneers, about the construction of the city, about the culture of modern Nizhnekamsk and about the construction of the largest petrochemical complex in Europe. The exposition “Nizhnekamskaya Antiquity” tells the history of the region from the XVII century. In the nature hall there is a taxidermic collection “Birds of the Ship Grove”, which presents more than 130 stuffed animals and birds. In the same hall is an exotic collection called “Inhabitants of coral reefs”. A separate hall of the museum is allocated for the performance of “Retro – the living room of Stakheev merchants”, who became famous for their charitable prelpravlenie activity. There is a constant renewal of the art hall and hall of decorative and applied arts, which presents the works of local masters of applied arts and artists of fine arts.
