DAY 1

Arrival - the way to the place of the slipway

Meeting at Irkutsk airport. Participants must arrive here no later than 8:30 local time (the difference with Moscow is 5 hours).

At 9:00 we go to the garage, where we pack our things in seals, and leave the backpacks and extra things here. After the garage, we'll take the route. First, we will take minibuses to the village of Orlik (the journey time is about 8 hours). In Orlika, we will switch to a cross-country car (Ural) and reach the Buryat wintering Hadarus (travel time is about 2 hours). Both sections of the road are very picturesque, so you will not be bored. Along the way, we will see the valley of the Irkut River, have a snack with the national Buryat dish - poses, go to the alpine datsan (Buddhist temple) and, of course, enjoy the views of the mountains of the Eastern Sayan.

The alloy will start above threshold 42. Here we set up camp, prepare dinner and get acquainted.

DAY 2

Catamaran collection, training, radial access to the lake Olon-Nur

Today we will collect catamarans, distribute among the crews, train well on the river and make a radial walk through the neighborhood. We will walk through the lava fields formed 6 million years ago by the volcanoes Kropotkin and Peretolchin, see a beautiful lake with clear and very cold water, admire the views of the mountains. The total length of the exit is about 10 km. Let's go without our backpacks, only with our cameras.

DAY 3

Alloying to the threshold of the Catapult, passing threshold No. 42, Billiards

We'll start rafting today. Before that, we'll have breakfast, distribute things to catamarans. Today we will walk about 5 kilometers, during which several simple Shivers, small blockages, threshold No42 (3 hp) and the threshold of Billiards (4-5 hp). We stop at the threshold of the Catapult, where we stand for the night. The thresholds of Billiards and Catapult are necessarily passed on unloaded catamarans, we carry things along the shore.

DAY 4

Passage of the thresholds of Catapult, Nurse

This day will be fully dedicated to the passage of thresholds, there will be as many as five, of which two thresholds are named: Catapult (5 hp) and Nedothroga (4 hp). After breakfast, we look at the threshold of the Catapult, discuss the passage, put up insurance, photography. The catapult is the most powerful threshold on our route, so we approach its passage with maximum preparation and certainly do not rush anywhere. After passing the Catapult, immediately after the turn, there will be another simple threshold, then two more thresholds, after which we will reach the threshold of Ultrahorn, pass it and get up for the night.

DAY 5

Passing the threshold Option, detour Obtoisky rubble, passing the Shivera Delight of the waterer

Breakfast, packing and going out to the water. Pass obstacle No. 51 and the threshold Option (3 hp) - a powerful drain of the waterfall type. Then we will reach the Sharzinsky Bridge, disassemble the catamarans, immerse everything in a car that will wait for us there, and go to the Obtoisky blockages detour to the Delight of the Waterman (3 hp). This is a powerful sewer with a length of 2.5 km with turns, pins, barrels and bulks on pouring stones. Here we will need the ability to maneuver, leaving stones and pins. This Shivara is the mouth of the Jombolok, here it flows into the Oka. After the Shivara we start and get up for the night.

DAY 6

Daylight.

Today we make a day, and everyone will find something to like. We will rest after a busy day, organize a hiking bath, and those who want to go fishing. The sandy beach is great for sunbathing and swimming, besides the water in Oka is much warmer than in Zhombolka! You can also take a camera for a walk around the area. Here on the rocks grows rhododendron Adams, or, as the Buryats call it, sagan-dala; its leaves have a tonic effect and give tea a unique aroma.

DAY 7

The mouth of the river Zhombolok - the entrance to the gorge Orkho-Bom

We go out into the water and after 10 minutes we stop again, this time to inspect the Little Zhombolok waterfall.

We raft along the Sayanskaya Ocean to the entrance to the Orkha-Bom gorge. There are no large thresholds on the site, there are several Shivers (up to 2 hp) and fast currents. A few kilometers before the gorge, we stand in the parking lot.

DAY 8

Orho-Bom. Thresholds of the Three Geologists, Lord Bring 1, pore. Rock Kalandarashvili, Okinsky, Buryatsky

Today is a day of extraordinary views and intense rowing. The total length of the alloy area is 30 km. After breakfast, quickly pack up, load on catamarans and walk 3 km to the entrance to the gorge. Here you can see how the rocks are approaching, and the river, making a sharp right turn, rushes into this narrowing, the current accelerates. Orkho-Bom gorge (4 hp) is a key section of the river. Here for 60 kilometers there are more than 100 obstacles of various difficulty levels, the Shivers alternate with powerful rapids.

The first obstacle in the gorge is the threshold of the Three Geologists (3 hp), which is essentially a powerful Shiver with powerful shafts along the clamping. We will pay special attention to this obstacle in order to work out the tactics of passing such thresholds, since many obstacles with a similar structure lie ahead. This is followed by several Shivers, the rapids of Carry Lord-1 and the Rock of Kalandarashvili (3-4 hp). Soon on the left bank becomes visible rock Finger with a lone flagpole on it. This is the landmark of the Okinsky threshold (4 hp). There are two pulsating shafts and a powerful barrel along the left bank. We inspect the threshold, take turns, insuring each other. Immediately behind Okinsky begins the entrance sheave of the Buryat threshold (4 hp). The structure of the threshold is similar to Okina. 200 m from the threshold on the left sandy shore there is an exhibition of handicrafts of tourists, which we will definitely visit and have a snack there. About 2 hours more rowing and get up in the parking lot.

DAY 9

Orho-Bom, sequel. Thresholds Bring Lord 2, Kharagol, Mill, Centrifuge

Today we will complete the passage of the Orkho-Bom gorge. We will pass about 40 numbered obstacles and thresholds of Bring Lord-2 (3 hp), Kharagol 1, 2 (3 hp), Mill (3-4 hp) and Centrifuge (4 hp). After the threshold of the Centrifuge, the river becomes more calm. There are no powerful rapids on this site, but numerous sewers 1-3 hp, pins and beauty of the surrounding mountains, where the camera simply does not want to be cleaned in a sealant, will not let you get bored. After Orkho-Bom, we will reach the Devil's Mane cliff and not far from it we will stand for the night.

DAY 10

Obstacles No. 95 - No. 140

Today is a long day, you have to walk about 65 kilometers. We will be rewarded with excellent views of the Sayan foothills, where the river goes after the gorge. Fast currents and sewers 1-2 k.s. (obstacles No. 95 - No. 140) pleasantly diversify the alloy. And with an increase in the water level, the flow speed and power of the Shiver increase significantly. We'll stop for a snack on the way. Stop for the night after rolling number 140.

DAY 11

Obstacle 140 is pos. Upper Neokinsky

Today we have to walk the remaining 35 kilometers to the village of Verkhneokinsky, where we will be waiting for the car. On this site, we will overcome numbered obstacles 141 - 174 (mainly 1 hp). This is the flat part of the Oka. We'll stop for a snack on the way. We'll arrive at the parking lot around 17:00. While dinner is being prepared, we'll have time to disassemble the catamarans. In the evening, we relax, discuss the trip.

DAY 12

Moving to Irkutsk

Early in the morning we gather camp, load in cars and go to Irkutsk. We will arrive at about 18:00, there will be time to check in at the hotel (not included in the price of the tour) and walk around the evening Irkutsk. It is better not to take tickets for this day, since the road is long and, in case of complications, you may not have time for the plane / train. We recommend taking tickets from the next morning.
