The Museum of Art of One City, established in February 1991, from the very beginning of its existence was aimed at reflecting the richness and originality of the Omsk cultural environment. The main idea was the unique “spirit of the place” inherent in Omsk, expressed in artistic images.
The beginning of the museum funds was laid by the works of young Omsk authors who were members of informal art associations of the late 1980s - early 1990s of the XX century: “ECHO”, “Cross”, “SKIT”, “Pupils of Glazunov”.
Museum of art and cultural profile, collects, stores, studies, exhibits works of fine art, design, photography. The collection presents both significant and outstanding, and typical works.
