Description:
This route is one of the most popular routes among guests. We will start the tour with the most beloved natural place among locals and tourists with a beautiful view - the north-eastern shore of Lake Pleshcheev, on which the mysterious Blue Stone lies since time immemorial. At your request, we will climb the Alexander Hill and an unforgettable panorama will open before us: as in the palm of your hand, the surface of the lake, ancient churches and monasteries of Pereslavl-Zalessky. We will visit the oldest male monastery in the name of the Great Martyr Nikita (Nikita of Gotha). The monastery becomes famous thanks to the Pereslavl Saint-Rev. Nikita the Wonderworker (Nikita Stolpnik). Let’s go to the shrines: the relics of St. Nikita Stolpnik lie in the monastery and the faiths of St. Nikita Stolpnik are preserved. Next, we will go to St. Nicholas Monastery - a women's active monastery, which will amaze you with its splendor and grooming, and the monastery pond with fish, in which the bell tower is reflected, is delighted by everyone without exception! Let us touch one of the main shrines of the monastery and Great Russia - the Korsun Cross with the Holy Relics, as well as many other Holy Relics and icons located in this monastery. And we will finish our tour with the Red (Cathedral) square of Pereslavl - Zalessky with its majestic, founded in 1152 by Yuri Dolgoruky, one of the first white-stone churches of North-Eastern Russia, which has survived to our days in almost complete safety - Spaso - Transfiguration Cathedral.
