Pereslavl-Zalessky

Iron museum

Russia, Pereslavl Zalessky, St. Soviet, 11

About the company:

In 2002, a private collector Andrei Vorobyov opened the Iron Museum in the center of Pereslavl Zalessky. As the name suggests, everything here is dedicated to this oldest household item.

The museum has more than 200 irons. All of them were made in Russia, Poland, Germany in the XVII-XX centuries. Some of the exhibits were purchased at markets, and some were found in landfills.

The exhibits here are the most amazing - there is a miniature iron weighing 10 grams, and there is a 10-pound giant. The museum presents cast irons, coal, electric, irons-dummies and much more.

On the first floor of the museum there is a souvenir shop.
